Hands-on help, not just advice
How We Work: Hands-On Help Sized for Growing Businesses
Pick the level of help that fits, from a short check-up of how your business runs to an engineer who works with your team every week. Every option is priced up front, and you own everything we build.
Business Check-Up
Problem-finding sprint
We spend time with your team, see how the work really gets done, and show you where time, money and effort are being lost.
- A walkthrough of your day-to-day processes and tools
- A clear, prioritized list of what to fix first, with effort and rough cost
- An AI readiness view of your data, security and tools
- One quick win delivered along the way
Best when you know something isn't working but aren't sure what to fix first.
Book a Check-UpYour Part-Time Tech Team
Forward-deployed engineer
An engineer who works with your team on a regular schedule, like having your own tech team without the full-time hire.
- Works in your existing tools, with your people
- AI, automation, system connections and custom tools
- A shared priority list and a weekly check-in
- A monthly report on what shipped and what it changed
Best when you have a steady stream of improvements to make and no in-house team to make them.

Start a ProjectWhy “forward-deployed”?
Leading technology companies support their most important customers with forward-deployed engineers: people who work inside the customer's business, learn how it really runs, and build solutions on the spot instead of handing over a report. We bring that same hands-on approach to small and mid-sized businesses, at a size and price that makes sense.
Our Approach
Business outcomes first, technology second, and we work in your business, not from a distance
Get to Know Your Business
We sit with the people doing the work, on-site or remote, and learn your systems, data and workflows as they really are.
Find the Biggest Wins
We pinpoint the bottlenecks that cost the most, rank fixes by impact and effort, and agree what success looks like before building anything.
Build & Connect
We build in your existing tools and ship in small weekly steps: AI, automation, integrations or custom software, so you see results fast.
Train, Hand Off or Keep Going
We document and train so your team owns the result, then hand off, or stay on and move to the next problem on the list.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose between a Check-Up, a Part-Time Tech Team and a Project?
If you're not sure what to fix first, start with a Check-Up. If you know exactly what you need built, choose a Project. If you have a steady stream of improvements to make, a Part-Time Tech Team is usually the best value.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both. We work on-site with businesses in the Austin area and remotely with clients across the US, often mixing the two.
How is pricing set?
Every engagement is priced up front: a fixed fee for Check-Ups, a fixed monthly fee for a Part-Time Tech Team, and a fixed price per scope for Projects. No open-ended hourly bills.
What does the paperwork look like?
A short master services agreement covering confidentiality, ownership and liability, plus a one-to-two page statement of work for each engagement.
Who owns what you build?
You do. Once paid for, code, automations and documentation belong to you, and they run on accounts in your name.
What is a forward-deployed engineer?
An engineer who works inside a customer's business, learning how it runs and building solutions on the spot, rather than advising from a distance. It's how leading technology companies support their biggest customers, and how we work with smaller ones.
What's the one problem you'd fix first?
Tell us about it. We'll suggest whether a quick check-up, ongoing help or a one-off project is the fastest way to fix it.
