AI Readiness & Strategy
AI Readiness Assessment for Small & Mid-Sized Businesses
Find out where AI can genuinely help, and what needs fixing first, before you spend money on tools. We review your data, systems, security and day-to-day workflows, then hand you a clear, prioritized plan.
Sound Familiar?
Signs this is worth fixing
- Staff are already using ChatGPT or other AI tools, with no policy on what data they can share
- You keep hearing about AI but can't tell which ideas would actually pay off
- Your data lives in spreadsheets, inboxes and systems that don't talk to each other
- A vendor is pitching an "AI solution" and you want an independent opinion
- Leadership wants an AI plan, but nobody has the time to own it
What We Do
Workflow interviews
We talk with the people doing the work to find repetitive, rules-based and information-heavy tasks where AI and automation fit.
Data review
Where your key information lives, how clean and accessible it is, and what would need to change for AI tools to use it safely.
Security and privacy check
Identity, access and sharing settings, plus how staff use AI tools today, so sensitive data doesn't leak into public AI services.
Use-case prioritization
Each opportunity is rated on impact, effort, risk and cost, so you know what to do first, what to do later and what to skip.
AI usage policy
A practical, plain-English policy your team can follow: approved tools, what data is off-limits and who to ask.
90-day roadmap
Quick wins, larger projects and rough budgets, presented to your leadership team.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an AI readiness assessment?
It is a structured review of whether your business is ready to use AI safely and profitably. We look at your data, systems, security and workflows, and finish with a prioritized plan showing where AI will help and what to fix first.
How long does an AI readiness assessment take?
Most assessments take one to two weeks, depending on the size of your team and how many systems are involved. You get a findings presentation and a written roadmap at the end.
Do we need technical staff to take part?
No. We work in plain business terms with the people who run your day-to-day operations. Where we need access to systems, a screen-share walkthrough is usually enough.
Will you push us toward specific AI software?
No. We are vendor-neutral. We often recommend making better use of tools you already pay for, such as AI features in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, before buying anything new.
What happens after the assessment?
You keep the roadmap and can act on it yourselves. If you want help, we can deliver the top items as a fixed-price project or work alongside your team on an ongoing basis.
Can an IT provider (MSP) offer this to its clients?
Yes. We have delivered AI readiness assessments across a managed IT provider's client base and can work with your team to deliver them consistently to your own clients.
